I build an alliance between nature and people by conceptualizing and carrying out projects for our National Trails and other conservation-based organizations.

Projects include:

Marketing & Public Relations Initiatives:

Created strategic plan and budget for marketing A.T. license plates based on market trends, data and existing management. Since 2006 I’ve grown the  A.T. License Plate program from one state generating $55,000 annually, to 3 states totaling $116,000 in 2009. Today the program generates over $150,000 annually for ATC’s operations in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Managed media relations campaigns in the southeast, from Georgia to Tennessee.

Program Development & Special Projects Management:

Researched, developed program content, wrote manuals, and delivered trainings for ATC’s Family Program, A.T. Community™ Ambassadors, and A.T. Community™ and Trailhead Kiosk Design Guides.

Organizing Events and Volunteer Coordination:

Coordinated all aspects of programs and events, including volunteer coordination, scheduling, venue booking, managing registration, program materials, promotions, vendor negotiations, and sponsorship to ensure successful events that met or exceeded profit goals.
